Towards The Sun

about

Towards The Sun is the first of a soulful new set of songs and their first release since joining London’s Albert’s Favourites imprint.

“This is a song about the importance but fragile nature of friendships and human connection. It’s about the integration of light and darkness - a song of hope.” says Mark Zentai, guitarist and lead vocalist.

Written after a particularly difficult period within the band the aim was to focus their attention on what's most important:

“We needed to honour our individual realities while realising our common ground through compassion and understanding. Connecting deeply through our love for each other and the music we share. Strengthening our vision to lift others up with the help of our artistic expression.”

“We’d like this to be a groovy yet reflective ode to "our tribe" which can be interpreted as narrow as our band, anybody's circle of family and friends or as wide and inclusive as a whole country, the entirety of humanity or even more...”

Towards The Sun features Dom Beats of Jazzbois, another of Budapest’s influential jazz exports, on Saxophone and brings a first taste of the new Astral Visions EP which will reach eager ears in April.
